Tea in the Garden

well I missed out on tea yesterday with Sandi and everyone for the Anne of Green Gables tea, I did share, so I sure didn't want to miss tea in the garden with Bernideen.
Our weather has been so gorgeous, rain at night, hot during the day, today was beautiful, no
humidity, got a lot of gardening done, still a lot to do. My roses are just blooming again, but don't want to pick them yet, so using my silk ones in the end of day glass vase/pitcher. The top table cloth is a new one from ebay. It is massive roses.
oops I changed a cup n' saucer, it's a new one
I got a couple of weeks ago at the auction. Didn't have roses on
it and wanted to go with the rose theme. Will show it again.

The cup n saucer is American Beauty by Royal Albert
this is my mother-in-laws china, she had enought pieces to
leave a complete set to both her daughters. Very pretty,
we have sold a variation to it at one time

I love this tea cup, been waiting to use it (I love them all, got rid of everything I didn't like) and in honour of Anne of Green Gables. Sandi used green and this has the roses too.
It is by Royal Albert - Garden Party Series "Spring Song"

The teapot is an auction goodie I bought two weeks ago.

New napkins that I got off ebay

this is another napkin set, it's been around for years.

a tatted doilie that was under the vase of flowers
I forgot to show my umbrella yesterday, then I took a picture of it open and having trouble downloading... must be because I'm inside and it's bad luck to open an umbrella inside...joke

Thank you for joining me for my tea in the garden, although, you would have
been hungry, didn't have a thing to eat. No fruit, no goodies but I do have grandsons. Hard to keep food in the house when they visit. Lucky for me they don't like tea.
I will be joining tea in the garden

  5. I enjoyed your tea so much. You have so many beautiful things. Your tea table is so lovely with your new pink tablecloth and darling teacups. I have a tablecloth in the same pattern as your napkins. A friend made it for me. I've seen the material at Hobby Lobby and now think I need to make me some napkins to match! Have a great weekend.
