sad, summer is getting away from us. It has been an amazing one, living on our deck.
Missed out on the tea yesterday, so got up early this morning and set up, before the big rainstorm.
these two cups n' saucers are so similar and different makers
Below my new teapot, bought it on ebay and it looked purple and lilac
and been wanting one in that colour, it is very pretty though
a little large -good for company, love the roses...

So pretty. I love the layered tablecloths, tea cups and pot and that sun umbrella is fantastic! What a beautiful setting for tea! We have Canadian Satellite and while watching the Olympics this morning, I heard tornado warnings...not sure what station I was watching (province). Hope the storm wasn't bad.
ReplyDeleteOh.my. I love your umbrella! That is the prettiest tea table setting too!!! Roses are the epitome of a tea cup to me and your teapot is so lovely :)

ReplyDeleteAll your patterns work so well together. Just lovely! The Cottage Garden name sums them all up, doesn't it? I love your fun umbrella too and your stepping stones are wonderful! I'd love having tea in your garden with you! Thanks for sharing your tea retreat and linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

Hi Betty: What a beautiful table setting. I love the Polynesian-feel of the umbrella--so cool! And I also really like the chartreuse bud vase--it is set off to perfection amid all the pretty pinks and whites that you chose for your table.

I love being able to have tea outside and your table is welcoming with an interesting book to share. Teacups with pink roses must be a favourite for most of us, they're so pretty.
